Issues
The Founding Fathers spent considerable time and effort thinking through the various forms of government and their subsequent establishment prior to creating the United States Constitution. Many of the issues and problems we face today are not new but were also issues and problems during the formative years of this great nation: taxation without proper representation, the proper role of local and national government, etc.
The basis for my political views and beliefs are drawn directly from both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. The United States Constitution still stands as the highest law in this nation and as such our deviations are unlawful and thus should be addressed.
